The GRE ™ is the most-commonly accepted standardized test for entrance into graduate schools in the United States. The GRE measures your quantitative, verbal, and essay-writing skills. The test is administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS).
GRE TEST FORMAT
It is designed with 3 section MATH followed by VERBAL and Analytical Writing Analysis.
Math:
This is the first section in GER where you have to answer 28 question in 45 min, question will problem solving and data sufficiency question, just be perfect with basic concept don’t go for jargons of math, be thorough with basic.
Verbal:
The second section will be verbal and where you have to answer 30 question in 30 min, the format will be always same every time question will , usually Includes 5-7 sentence completion questions, 8-10 antonym questions, 6-8 analogy questions, and 6-10 reading comprehension questions based on 2-4 reading passages , to crack the verbal part is bit difficult task in GRE, I would suggest to go for Barrons and Kaplan verbal book and so many other book in market. Don’t be flooded with so many just concentrate on few basics and remember words learn (prefix suffix and root words) in English so that you can guess the meaning of GRE words
Analytical Writing Analysis :
In this section you will having 2 question, first question will be of 45 min, the question will be related to an issue or a notice in campus the you have to read the topic and analysis the topic , like what is all about , whats? The main issue and what can be the solution for that. In the second question it will be general question where you have to take decision and you have to justify you statement or decision with examples and experience.
Practice more online test, because these competitive exams usually check the patience of person by making him to sit for more than 3 hr. So I would suggest take more and more Online COMPLET exams, so that you can do much better on particular test day...
